The Numbers "In America, a woman is raped every 2 minutes." "2-4 million women are beaten every year; the FBI says that a woman is beaten every 9 seconds in the U.S." "30% of women killed in the U.S. are murdered by their husbands or boyfriends. Emergency rooms report that the majority of cases of women seeking treatment for injuries are the result of abuse." These are just some of the statistics surrounding domestic violence in our modern society.
